We made it! Since October 4th we have traveled together down the road toward better health. I know the changes you have made are making a difference. If you have wandered off the path, don’t fret – just hop back on. His grace is sufficient! If you have some extra time during the holidays and missed a post, you can easily check out all the health related ones by clicking on “healthy living” at the bottom of this post.
Since it is Thanksgiving this is a good time to tell you how thankful I am for you. You may see reading this blog every week as just something to do, but I am immensely inspired and humbled by your visit each week. Your comments motivate me to continue writing. Even on those days when I feel I have nothing to offer, just knowing you are here… waiting… helps keep my mind focused and my heart on someone other than myself. That reminds me of something I heard in church Sunday. Max Lucado is about to retire from his pulpit ministry and said he plans to travel the country spreading the message of five little words. After hearing that I tried to imagine what five words could be so important. Can you guess? I’ll just let you think about that a few minutes!
No matter what your plans are this Thanksgiving I hope we all spend some time with the Giver of all good things and take time to say thank you. One of my sweet sisters recently shared this question with our ladies’ class, “What if you woke up tomorrow morning with only the things you had thanked God for?” I am slowly learning to show more thankfulness for people rather than things and desperately trying to make sure those people know I love them. Here are three people who know I love them.
I also want to share a fun little song with you by Jamie Grace and Toby Mac. Hope it puts a spring into your holiday and reminds you that you are loved and dearly held.

By the way, Max’s five little words? “It’s not all about me!”
