    Donna,
I am thankful for you, too. I eagerly await your posts as they always lift me up and inspire me to keep on. You always seem to have THE message I need, except for the shrimp/crawfish. That one is painful but I have given them up along with pork and all it’s tastiness.

This post is particularly meaningful to me for 2 reasons:
If I woke up surrounded by things I have said I am thankful for – well, that’s an eye opener for sure. (My first thought was my dog and I would be alone!) Seriously, that is a very sobering thought and has moved me to action.

Secondly, I have people in my life that really need to hear “It’s not about me” but they will not listen to that thought or really to anything Scriptural. Please pray for me as I try to reach out to them through God’s word and pray for them that their hearts will be softened. These people don’t want to talk about things they are thankful for,nor do they want to hear anything I am thankful for. I am not allowed to say anything of a spiritual nature but I keep on. Most of the time, they just walk away from me.They believe God has intentionally made their life difficult and feel they have not one thing to be thankful for. Hard to believe, isn’t it?

I am thankful for you and your posts and for the work you do in the name of the Lord. You are a blessing to many, but to me in a special way that I suppose I have never told you. Thank you.

I was unable to listen to Hold Me, but thank you for wanting to share this with me. May you and yours have a blessed Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for so many things, one of which is that you decided to create this blog ! I look so forward to it every week, and I have never read an entry that didn’t have the Holy Spirit covering it.
I am thankful for what I am learning, and that God blessed you with an amazing talent for expressing yourself in writing so beautifully.
May God bless you for sharing with all of us. I especially pray that He will continually bless you with health and strength, and continue to inspire your words for the benefit of all who read…
